UCHIDA DRILL BITS
Characteristics
Drill bits are made of high-strength and durable materials: To ensure the efficiency and productivity of punches, UCHIDA engineers have studied alternatives to ordinary steel materials. UCHIDA has produced drill bits of two different materials: Teflon or Silicon. Each coated material has its own unique features such as Teflon - the ability to reduce friction between the drill bit and the paper so that the hole is easier to drill. Silicon will be more durable and life expectancy will be many times longer than other products. A sufficiently strong and durable drill bit will ensure continuous, uninterrupted punching due to the replacement of a broken drill during paper drilling.
Drill bits create holes that are accurate, uniform, and beautiful in size: Traditional punching methods have the disadvantage of low productivity, the size of the holes may be uneven, beautiful, and auxiliary. depending on the workmanship of the worker, ... However, if you use a drilling machine and a drill bit, you can be assured of these issues. Each drill bit is designed to make holes of exactly the same size and shape. The only thing you need to care about is the size of the bore and choose the size of the drill bit to suit. In addition, UCHIDA uses CNC technology to improve the smoothness of both the inner and outer surface of the drill bits while making them smooth and uniform.
Paper congestion resistant: In the process of using a drill bit, it is common for shredded paper to get stuck in a drill hole. To overcome this limitation, drill bits are designed with an outer diameter decreasing from the tip to the tip of the drill bit while the inner diameter increases with the length of the drill bit. Thereby helping the paper shredded easily escape outside without being entangled in the drill to hinder the drilling process.
It can be re-grounded many times when used for a long time: Because it is made of metal, the drill bits can be re-grounded many times to use to save costs.
Principles of use
- The drilling machine is rigid, the drill bit does not sway during operation
- Make sure the drill movement is perpendicular to the material
- Power on the entire drilling process continuously
- Regularly sharpen, cool, lubricate drill bits
- High quality and sharp drill bits with a polished inner diameter as finely as possible.
Basic rules for using drill bits for different applications:
- Small-bore diameter -> faster rotation
- Large diameter -> slower rotation-
- Hard material / high quantitative -> slower rotation speed
- Soft material / low dosing -> higher rotation speed4. Application
Application
Nowadays, customers tend to use many different materials for their prints. UCHIDA has also researched solutions to drill on different materials with different coatings.
Therefore, drill bits are now commonly used to drill many types of products such as office documents, paper or plastic bags, swing tags, plastic films, labels, calendars, etc. They are made from different materials and each type has a different hole diameter.
